
Eduardo Gonçalves Gresse
Eduardo Gonçalves Gresse is a senior researcher at the Cluster of Excellence “Climate, Climatic Change, and Society” (CLICCS) at the University of Hamburg, Germany. He is author of the book “Non-state actors and Sustainable Development in Brazil” (Routledge) and a co-editor of edited volume “Financializations of Development” (Routledge) and of the Hamburg Climate Futures Outlook (CLICCS), an annual publication that introduces a new, interdisciplinary methodology to assess the plausibility of climate futures. Eduardo is a member of the Environment and Society research group at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo (IEA-USP). He has empirical research experience in urban and rural areas in Brazil, where he engaged with private and public organizations, scholars, social movements and local communities. His research addresses the realms of re-structure, re-think, and re-connect.
