Julia Teebken

Julia Teebken is a trained political scientist who works on transformative environmental politics, critical policy analysis, transformative adaptation, marginalized populations, and lock-ins. She examines the role different actors can(not) play for transformative change, the margins of action (Handlungsspielräume) and which path-dependent, structural factors hamper change. As a comparativist, Julia has worked across different political systems (China, EU, Germany, U.S.) and levels of governance (national, regional, local). Her empirical research as well as her work with environmental practitioners are relevant for the realms of re-structure and re-think
