Ilka Roose is a trained political scientist and urban sociologist. She will contribute to the realm of re-structure through her work on leverage points towards sustainable water governance. In her research, she  worked with a social-ecological system approach, an institutionalist perspective, and a regional focus on Chile. Currently, she is focussing on the sustainable development of higher education  institutions and is coordinating a project on innovation and knowledge transfer in science society-contexts in the rural area of Brandenburg (Germany). Therefore, she will further contribute to the realm of re-think.
