Benjamin Nölting

Benjamin Nölting holds the chair in Governance of Regional Sustainability Transformation at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE). He is an active member of the HNEE faculty, designed the Master’s program in Strategic Sustainability Management and he is the head of the research centre [Sustainability – Transformation – Transfer] at HNEE. His work emphasizes the importance of multi-level perspectives and governance approaches for sustainability transitions. He advocates for integrating both scientific and non-scientific knowledge through sustainability transfer, particularly through co-production, where practitioners and universities collaborate on equal terms. His projects span land management, agriculture, water management, and energy transformation, with a primary focus in the Brandenburg region.
